The rocker underwent surgery to rid her body of the disease in 2006, and decided to offer her support and provide a “sounding board” for the Samantha Who? star after she revealed she had a double mastectomy following her diagnosis in July.

Crow tells People.com, “I knew Christina, it was less about the celebrity aspect of it and more about the experience of already having it. It’s daunting to have to go through getting the prognosis. It’s just nice to have a sounding board.”

And Crow admits her own battle with cancer has made her stronger.

She explains, “Breast cancer helped me put myself first in life. Once I stepped out of radiation, I had to remember that the only person who could take care of me was me. I’d better do that before I take care of everybody else, instead of everybody else first.” (Source:uknewsyahoo)

Breaking News: Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan wants to adopt with lesbian lover

HOLLYWOOD star Lindsay Lohan wants to start a family with her girlfriend. The couple are reportedly looking at buying an apartment together in New York after a holiday in Mexico.

The lesbian Mean Girls actress is only 22 but has revealed she is already planning to adopt a child.

And Lohan says she is happier than ever since finding love with British-born DJ Samantha Ronson.

She said: “At some point, I want to adopt a kid as well.

“A child in need or a newborn from another country. I’m not sure yet.”

Lohan would become the latest in a long list of Hollywood stars who have adopted, including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Meg Ryan, Sharon Stone, Sheryl Crow, Calista Flockhart and Mia Farrow.

Lohan finally confirmed last month she was in a relationship with Ronson - sister of artist and record producer Mark Ronson.

The defiant actress told Marie Claire magazine: “People can think what they want. I’m really happy and that’s all that matters.’

Some have credited Ronson with helping Lohan get her life back in order after stints in rehab, a spell in jail and a community service sentence for driving under the influence.

But her outspoken dad, Michael, a former convict who became a born-again Christian while behind bars, has frequently aired his disapproval of the relationship.

While Lohan acknowledges Ronson has been a great help in her life, she insists she dealt with her problems herself.

She said of Ronson: “She’s a great person. But I think that anything that’s changed in my life is because ofme.

“I’ve gone through it and I’ve had to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward. So, yeah, she’s a great person.”
